Samsung allegedly fakes benchmarks scores

Benchmarks are often criticized because they can be easily manipulated. Anand tech has discovered that the benchmarks for the Octa-core Galaxy S4 were run on a device with higher CPU and GPU clock speeds than the usual model. They also discovered an app called “BenchmarkBooster” which over clocks the CPU and GPU when certain apps were running. Is Samsung the only one doing this or are Qualcomm and Nvidia doing the same?
